2323 W. Hammer lane - Raley's Supermarket is the anchor of this Hammer Lane and Don Avenue location. There are also two banks, two restaurants. a pizza place, Rado shack and auto parts store
Raley’s operates 130 stores, 40 of them in the Greater Sacramento area. Those stores control the city’s largest market share: 28%, down from 30% in 2007 and 34% in 2003, according to Metro Market Studies of Tucson, Arizona. By comparison, other local market shares are Safeway at 16.7%, Costco at 11.9% and Save Mart at 9.2%. However, the company is suffering from increased competition in the region as well as the poor economy, and had more than 150 corporate layoffs in 2011 and closed several stores in 2012.

Many Chief stores were adjacent to 7-Eleven stores, or were in stand-alone buildings. 7-Eleven called them "convenience auto parts stores Chief Auto Parts was a United States-based auto parts store chain and had stores located in the states of Tennessee, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Arkansas and California. Chief was founded in 1955 in Norwalk, California. It was purchased by Southland Corporation in 1979, along with Citgo and Movie Quik. The company was based in Dallas, Texas and operated as a division of Southland Corporation until 1990. The division was then sold to General Electric. Compass Bank - On August 21, 2009, in an Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation-supervised transaction, BBVA Compass acquired the deposits and other core assets of the failed Guaranty Bank of Austin, Texas. The deal gives BBVA Compass a first-time presence in California and expands an existing presence in Texas. BBVA is further expanding its regional presence with BBVA Compass Plaza, a 312,000 square foot office building in Houston, which was officially opened on 13 June 2013.

Little Cesar's Pizza - 2339 W. Hammer Lane / Former Best Pizza - Little Caesars Pizza was founded by husband and wife Mike and Marian Ilitch on May 8, 1959. The first location was a strip mall in Garden City, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Mike wanted to call it simply "Pizza Treat," but Marian wanted a name that suited her more. Marian considered Mike her "little Caesar". Mike ultimately relented, and the store opened as "Little Caesar's Pizza Treat." The original store is still open today.

McDonald's revenues grew 27 percent over the three years ending in 2007 to $22.8 billion, and 9 percent growth in operating income to $3.9 billion. McDonald's primarily sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken, french fries, breakfast items, soft drinks, milkshakes and desserts.
