Indianapolis International Airport(IND) is an international airport situated seven miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis in Marion County, Indiana. It is owned and operated by the Indianapolis Airport Authority. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021 labels it a medium hub primary commercial service facility. The airport receives over 8.5 million passengers each year. There are 18 airlines servicing the airport.
The airport opened as Indianapolis Municipal Airport in 1931 and was later called the Weir Cook Municipal Airport, Indianapolis International contains about 7,700 acres in both Wayne and Decatur townships in Marion County and also Guilford Township in Hendricks County. It is the 45th busiest U.S. airport in terms of passenger traffic, serving 8.5 million passengers each year. As home to the second largest FedEx Express hub in the world, IND ranked as the seventh busiest U.S. airport in terms of air cargo throughput in 2015.
A $1.1 billion midfield passenger terminal was completed in 2008 as one of the first designed and built in the U.S. since the September 11 attacks. The Colonel Harvey Weir Cook Terminal features two concourses and 40 gates, connecting to 51 nonstop domestic and international destinations and averaging 145 daily departures.

Fort Wayne International Airport

Fort Wayne International Airport(FWA) is located eight miles southwest of Fort Wayne, in Allen County, Indiana. It is owned by the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority.
The airport provides many amenities, including good food service, business meeting rooms, fax machine availability, complimentary wireless Internet access at the terminal, game areas, TVs, ATMs, Skycap services and public phones throughout the property. The airport also provides many facilities for the disabled and therefore has special stalls for them in the toilets, assistance, ramps and Skycap services. It also features the Greater Fort Wayne Aviation Museum on the second floor where visitors can see part of the aviation history in the area.

The airport includes 3,351 acres at an elevation of 814 feet. The primary Runway 5/23 is 11,981 feet long and 150 feet (46 m) wide grooved asphalt and concrete. The runway is large enough to accommodate the NASA Space Shuttle orbiter, Airbus A380, Boeing 747, and military air mobility and aerial refueling aircraft like as the C-5 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster III, KC-135 Stratotanker, KC-46A Pegasus, and KC-10 Extender. The runway has BAK-14 arresting gear on both ends for emergency arrestment of US and NATO/Allied fighter and other tactical fixed-wing aircraft. Runway 14/32 is the airport's secondary runway, 8,001 by 150 feet. Runway 9/27 is 4,001 by 75 feet and used by general aviation.

South Bend International Airport(SBN) is located three miles northwest of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana It is the state's third busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic after Indianapolis International and Fort Wayne International Airports.
The airport consists of 2,200 acres at an elevation of 799 feet. There are three asphalt runways: 9L/27R is 4,300 by 75 feet; 9R/27L is 8,414 by 150 feet; 18/36 is 7,100 by 150 feet.] The terminal, completed in 1981 and designed by HOK and Cole Associates was expanded in 2011 by Ken Herceg & Associates, has one nine-gate concourse. Six of the nine gates (3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) have jetways, while three (1, 2, 4) are ground-level. Amenities include cafes and restaurants, a concession area/lounge, a gift shop, a children's play area, a business center, and free Wi-Fi available throughout the terminal.

Evansville Regional Airport

Evansville Regional Airport(EVV) is located three miles north of Evansville, in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. It is owned by the Evansville/Vanderburgh Airport Authority.
The airport is 1,250 acres at an elevation of 422 feet. There are three asphalt runways: 4/22 is 8,021 by 150 feet; 18/36 is 6,286 by 150 feet; 9/27 is 3,497 by 75 feet. There is also an Instrument Landing System.
At the beginning of 2013 four new jet bridges were installed which allowes passengers to avoid having to exit the terminal and board the plane from the outside. It was the first time Evansville Regional Airport had new jet bridges, since US Air left the Evansville airport in the 1990s.
