Sioux Falls Regional Airport(FSD), also called Joe Foss Field, is a public and military use airport owned by the Sioux Falls Regional Airport Authority and situated three nautical miles northwest of the central business district of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was named in honor of aviator and Sioux Falls native Joe Foss. FSD serves the greater Sioux Falls area, as well as other communities throughout eastern South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa. - List of US Airlines
Joe Foss Field includes 1,570 acres at an elevation of 1,430 feet above mean sea level. There are three runways with concrete surfaces:

There is also has one helipad designated H1 with an asphalt surface measuring 50 by 50 feet.

Rapid City Regional Airport(RAP) is a public use airport, located nine miles southeast of Rapid City, in Pennington County, South Dakota.
The airport includes 1,655 acres at an elevation of 3,203 feet. There are two runways:
Runway 14/32 is 8,701 by 150 feet, concrete.
Runway 5/23 is 3,601 by 75 feet, asphalt.
A $20.5 million expansion and renovation of the terminal building was completed in 2012. There is 12,000 square feet of floor space, three jet bridges and one boarding gate.

The passenger terminal is one of only four terminals in South Dakota that boasts a moving jet bridge, the other three being Sioux Falls Regional Airport, Rapid City Regional Airport, and Pierre Regional Airport. The loading bridge allows passengers to board the aircraft from inside the terminal and right onto the aircraft without a need to walk outside.
