    Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport(IATA: ICT, ICAO: KICT, FAA LID: ICT) is a commercial airport situated about 7 miles west of downtown Wichita, Kansas, It is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Kansas. The airport is 3,248 acres. It is commonly referred to as Eisenhower National Airport or by its former name Mid-Continent Airport. The airport's airport code, ICT, is also a commonly used nickname for the city.

    The airport has all the amenities to make passengers comfortable while traveling. There are ATMs, car rentals, game rooms, snack bars, and souvenir shops. Restaurants and retail stores are located throughout the terminal. The airport also has a business and conference center, free Wi-Fi, a shoe shine machine and sky-cap service.

    Manhattan Regional Airport


    Manhattan Regional Airport
    Manhattan Regional Airport(MHK) in Riley County, is the second-busiest commercial airport in Kansas. It is owned by the city of Manhattan, Kansas, and is approximately five miles southwest of downtown Manhattan. American Airlines serves the airport with five daily flights to Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The airport is also used for general aviation and for planes chartered by the military and college sports teams (the airport is four miles east of Fort Riley and eight miles southwest of Kansas State University's athletic complex).

    The airport has two concrete runways: 3/21 is 7,000 by 150 feet and 13/31 is 5,000 by 75. There are five taxiways and two parking aprons; they can handle aircraft as large as the Boeing 767 or C-17. Three navigation systems and multiple lighting systems guide aircraft to the Airport. An FAA control tower and two Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting (ARFF) vehicles complete the airside support. Any aircraft with 30 passenger seats or more, or over 110,000 lbs landing weight requires prior permission from the Airport Director to land. Aircraft as large as the Boeing 767 land occasionally as charters for the military or sports teams.

    Garden City Regional Airport(GCK) is nine miles southeast of Garden City, in Finney County, Kansas. It is served by one scheduled airline, subsidized by the federal government's Essential Air Service program at a cost of $2,919,026 (per year).

    The airport includes 1,848 acres at an elevation of 2,891 feet (881 m). There are two concrete runways: 17/35 is 7,300 by 100 feet while 12/30 is 5,700 by 100 feet.
