    Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the prncipal international airport serving the Baltimore metropolitan area along with the Washington, D.C. metropolitian area, being one of three principal airports serving the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area the others are Washington Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. Situated in an unincorporated area of Anne Arundel County, the airport is nine miles south of downtown Baltimore. It is the busiest airport in Maryland, and serves more passengers than all airports in both Washington and Philadelphia. It is commonly called BWI or BWI Marshall. The airport is named after Thurgood Marshall, a Baltimore native who was the very first African American to serve as a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. This airport also serves a heavy population base from the Washington metropolitan area and Harrisburg metropolitan area.

    BWI is the only international airport in the state of Maryland. It is a high-tech airport that provides its passengers some of the best services. The airport has been renovated several times to handle increased traffic. The airport receives nearly 20 million passengers every year and has many retail shops and restaurants.

    Salisbury-Ocean City: Wicomico Regional Airport (SBY), or, most often called SBY Regional Airport, is situated in unincorporated Wicomico County, Maryland, five miles southeast from downtown Salisbury, Maryland. Salisbury is the largest city along Maryland's Eastern Shore with a population of 395,300 in the metropolitan statistical area, and is centrally located on the Delmarva Peninsula. Since SBY Regional Airport is the only commercial airport with daily scheduled flights in the area, it also has service for Delaware, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland, which include the other large cities of Cambridge and Ocean City

    The Richard A. Henson Terminal is a 26,000 square feet facility first opened in 1990. There is an American Eagle ticket counter and a TSA bag scanning area at the southeast part of the building. Two departure gates, one arrival gate, and security checkpoints are in the middle and northwest part of the terminal

    Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR), also called Richard A. Henson Field, is a county-owned public-use airport in Washington County, Maryland. It is situated four nautical miles north of the central business district of Hagerstown, Maryland, and about a half mile from the Maryland/Pennsylvania border. The airport is in Western Maryland off Interstate 81 at exit 10 and U.S. Route 11, pretty close to Northern Virginia, South Central Pennsylvania, and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

    The airport includes 693 acres at an elevation of 703 feet above mean sea level. There are two asphalt paved runways: 9/27 is 7,000 by 150 feet while 2/20 is 3,165 by 100 feet.

    HGR has many services and amenities available to its customers. The airport has free parking, free WiFi spots, less than one hour check-in time, easy accessibility for people with disabilities. There are flights to many locations in the country and is also connected to Pittsburgh International Airport.
