MetroList is locally Owned and Operated by the Local Association’s of Realtors
MetroList Services, Inc. more commonly known as MetroList®, is the official Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and computer service provider to more than 25,000 real estate brokers and agents in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Merced Counties. In 1985 the Sacramento, Placer County and El Dorado County Associations of REALTORS®, formed MetroList to own and operate the computer system supporting a regional MLS database. As the success of MetroList grew, The Lodi Association of Realtors, The Stockton Association of Realtors and Yolo County Association of Realtors joined to provide a seamless real estate information network to serve the Northern California Central Valley.
Within the geographic service area, Real Estate professionals have complete access to every listing within a single data base, one common and easy to use software system, one subscriber orientation program, one set of MLS Rules and Procedures and the use of the most advanced and secure Keybox system. Most important, MetroList is locally owned and operated by the Local Association’s of Realtors, and Real Estate Agents and Brokers who know and understand the Northern California Central Valley Real Estate market.
In 2006 MetroList introduced Prospector PowerTools, the most comprehensive real estate software solutions package for subscribers to produce CMA Premium Reports, New Buyer Tour, Integrated Street Mapping, and Flyers. Prospector PowerTools is provided free to all MetroList subscribers.
Another innovative initiative to share data among regional MLSs is the break through development of Quattro. In 2006, three of the largest MLSs in Northern California, SFARMLS (San Francisco), BAREIS (the North Bay) and MetroList® (the Sacramento Valley) founded Quattro to provide reciprocal data base access to their subscribers. By providing reciprocal MLS access, Quattro preserves the ability of existing MLSs to take into account local conditions and practices so that practitioners have the information and tools appropriate for the area in which they conduct business. Quattro invites and welcomes MLSs throughout California to join in the successful data sharing initiative.
Today, MetroList continues to provide unparalleled customer service and support, cutting edge real estate tools and resources and a full array of local trainings and seminars to enable our subscribers to more successfully list and sell real estate.
Metrolist is not directly available to non-real estate subscribers, but is available through IDX feeds such as Wright Realtors Real Estate Listings. Jan 21, 2011
