Woodbridge, California was known as Mokelumne Station and established in 1869. How Woodbridge got its name is a mystery. It has been said it was named after a popular racehorse.
Woodbridge is about a 2-hour drive to San Francisco, and about a 45-minute drive to Sacramento. The population of Woodbridge is around 59,926 and covers approximately 12 square miles.
Woodbridge is quite an agricultural region, with wine grapes being one of the primary crops.
Woodbridge has many wineries with tasting rooms to showcase the local wines for tourists to sample.
The City's Parks & Recreation Department provides programs covering a variety of activities for youth and adults alike. To Woodbridge is located just south of Sacramento and north of Stockton. To the west are the thousands of miles of waterways in the Sacramento River Delta, and to the east is the historic Gold Rush country of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The area enjoys mild
winters and long, relatively rain-free summers, tempered by a 'Delta breeze' which comes in from the west, along the waterways, bringing welcome coolness from the Pacific Ocean. As a result, local residents and visitors enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities in which to participate, from fishing and boating to skydiving, bird watching, softball or soccer.
In any season, there is always something fun and interesting to do in and around Woodbridge, for people of any age or background. And if that is not enough, Woodbridge is within easy day trip driving distance to the Mother Lode Gold Rush country, the
Sacramento Delta, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite,
Sacramento, Reno, San Francisco and Monterey. All but hidden by expansive
stretches of vineyards and miles of almond, cherry and walnut orchards, the area
beckons travelers to discover Woodbridge and the Woodbridge wine country.
Despite California's rapid growth, Woodbridge has preserved its small town
charm, offering visitors an easy pace of life longed for by many

This club uses three separate nine hole
courses as three different eighteen hole combinations. These courses are very
tight because there is a well-defined cut of rough and many trees lining its
mounded fairways. The greens on these courses are small and sloped. There are
many well-placed sand bunkers, and a creek comes into play on all three courses.
These courses are located in the middle of wine country, so you'll have some
great views of the surrounding vineyards. All three courses were redesigned by
Robert Muir Graves in 1985.
